Imagine…nutrient-packed banana and spinach waffles that are stored in the freezer and popped in the toaster as needed. When it comes to eating clean and healthy, how much easier could it get?
Wholesome Heart Foods was born out of the desire to create delicious, nutritious toaster waffles. I couldn’t have agreed more with their founder, Wendy when she said that the other frozen waffles out in the marketplace with healthier ingredients tasted like cardboard.
Wendy found herself topping her waffle with an extra serving of syrup to cover up that bland cardboard taste.
Interesting fact: I did the same. It made the “healthy choice” pointless.
Wendy is a mother of two young children who love toaster waffles, so she’s familiar with the toaster waffles out there in the market, both healthy and not-so-much.
When she talked about the nutritious toaster waffle options available with friends, it was their common experience that the quick breakfast options out there were highly processed and sugar-filled. Think cake-like muffins or high carb bagels.
Whipping up homemade waffles became her weekend treat. After much trial and error, Wendy came up with her first product, made with gluten-free oat flour, bananas, and spinach! Yes, it’s green, and yes, it’s tasty! It’s moist with a touch of sweetness.
And this gluten-free toaster waffle is prepared in less than 5 minutes. Convenient and healthy – check! Totally doable for a quick morning meal with or without littles.
I personally topped mine with a very small amount of maple syrup and an egg. Please don’t let the green color throw you off. Hello…Green Eggs and Ham, anybody?
Taste these wholesome gluten-free toaster waffles by Wholesome Heart Foods! You’ll thank me!
Keeping her brand close to her heart, Wendy wants her customers to know that her ingredients will always be wholesome.
She believes food brings people together. She’s absolutely correct. Why not gather your loved ones together and enjoy some legitimately delicious, nutritious gluten-free toaster waffles?
